Utakk - Ikkje no, men no

Ikkje no, men no – Singel/musikkvideo Utakk m/Sandra Kolstad 12.11.

Solsystemet presents the first preview of Utakk's upcoming album, the video for the track Ikkje no, men no. The song is a collaboration with the Berlin based Norwegian technopop artist Sandra Kolstad.

Here's the brand new video for opening track Everyday Now. The fox is called Matilda.

Reading some Best Of 2014 lists reminded us that Tim Tygg's incredible debut album must have remained a secret not known to most music listeners. And this is really not much of a surprise since the self-released (vinyl only) album had no real distribution, and promo was non-existent. So we've decided to give it a second life. It will be available on all streaming services.

Tim Tygg: Mari Kvien Brunvoll and Johanne Birkeland.

They started playing together in Bergen during the rainy winter of 2006, making songs that sprung out of their curiousity and confusion of life and love, on instruments which at the time they had not yet learned to play, some old, some new, and some odd instruments they had aquired during travels abroad. In concert they usually play in the smallest cafés they can find, to keep the right atmosphere. 22 was recorded over three days in a museum, an 18th century wooden house in Bergen, which provided intimate and suitable surroundings.
